MJ Leckie Carpentry is a family-owned carpentry business based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, specialising in the design and construction of premium custom outdoor kitchens. Founded and led by Michael Leckie — a licensed carpenter and joiner with over 20 years of hands-on trade experience — we bring precision craftsmanship and genuine passion to every project we undertake.
We serve homeowners across Sydney's Northern Beaches and greater Sydney region, including Manly, Dee Why, Narrabeen, Newport, Avalon, Palm Beach, Mona Vale, Collaroy, and surrounds. Our clients are people who love entertaining outdoors and want a kitchen that's built to last in the Australian climate — not a flat-pack solution, but a genuinely bespoke build tailored to their home and lifestyle.
What We Build
Every outdoor kitchen we build is custom-designed from the ground up. We handle the full project — from concept and design through to cabinet fabrication, appliance integration, benchtop templating and installation. Our online planning tool lets you design your kitchen, choose your finishes, add appliances, and get an instant price estimate before you even pick up the phone.
We work with market-leading benchtop materials including Smartstone sintered stone, and offer a curated range of door styles, handles, and kicker colours to match any home aesthetic.
