Building Outdoor Kitchens in Narrabeen — What to Know
Lagoon-Side Outdoor Living
Narrabeen Lagoon properties are prized for their outdoor living potential. We design kitchens that complement lagoon-side alfresco areas — with layouts that make the most of water views and outdoor space.
Coastal Material Specification
Properties near Narrabeen Lagoon and the beach require outdoor-rated materials. We use waterproof Stylex carcasses, polytec Alfresco aluminium doors, and Smartstone Sintered benchtops — all built to withstand coastal conditions.
Large Block Potential
Narrabeen has many larger blocks with generous outdoor areas. We regularly design L-shape and U-shape kitchens with bar overhangs for Narrabeen clients who want a serious outdoor entertaining space.
Northern Beaches Council
Narrabeen is covered by Northern Beaches Council. Most outdoor kitchen additions within existing covered alfresco structures are exempt development — we confirm this as part of the initial design consultation.
