Newport, Sydney
Custom outdoor kitchens for Newport homeowners — coastal and waterfront builds using marine-grade materials designed for Pittwater properties.
Custom Outdoor Kitchens Newport
Newport is one of the Northern Beaches' most desirable suburbs, straddling the ocean and Pittwater. With beautiful waterfront properties, generous alfresco areas, and a culture of outdoor entertaining, Newport is a natural fit for a custom outdoor kitchen. MJ Leckie Carpentry has built kitchens across Newport — from compact BBQ stations on timber decks to full gourmet U-shape kitchens for serious entertainers. We know what materials work in Newport's coastal environment and design accordingly.
Building Outdoor Kitchens in Newport — What to Know
Waterfront & Hillside Properties
Newport has a mix of waterfront homes on Pittwater and hillside properties with sweeping views. We design kitchens that suit both — open-air setups for waterfront decks and sheltered alfresco areas for hillside homes.
Coastal-Grade Construction
Newport's Pittwater-facing properties are exposed to marine air from the water. We specify full waterproof Stylex carcasses, aluminium-framed polytec Alfresco doors, and Smartstone Sintered benchtops — all rated for marine environments.
Large Format Entertaining Spaces
Newport homes frequently have generous outdoor areas. We regularly design U-shape and island kitchens with bar overhangs for Newport clients who love large-scale outdoor entertaining.
Seamless Indoor–Outdoor Integration
Many Newport homes have bifold or sliding doors connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. We design kitchen layouts that flow naturally from the indoor kitchen to the alfresco area.
